About Jashell Mitchell

Antoinette “Jashell” Mitchell serves as the Manager, Diversity & Inclusion for the National Football League. She is responsible for HBCU Programming, Women's Programming, and College Relations. Prior to joining the NFL, Mitchell spent three seasons overseeing football operations at North Carolina Central University. In 2017, she was named assistant athletics director for internal operations and assistant senior woman administrator. Mitchell spent the previous three years at the University of Memphis, working two seasons as the executive assistant to the head football coach and as administrative assistant to the deputy athletics director. During her undergraduate career at Bethune-Cookman, Mitchell was a three-year letter winner in women’s basketball and an administrative assistant for football and men’s basketball. Currently, she is working on her Doctor of Education at East Tennessee State University in Global Sports Leadership. Mitchell is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and a Flint, Michigan native.
