In honor of Women’s History Month, host Rekaya Gibson highlights Luci Collins (Cummings), an American gymnast from Inglewood, California. In 1980, She became the first Black gymnast to qualify for the United States women’s Olympic team. That same year, the U.S. boycotted the Moscow Olympics. Collins, an African American of Creole heritage, did not get to compete. #KeepItSporty
