This special episode of Black Girls Talk Sports features an interview with D.S. Little, the author of Rookie Mistakes. Host Rekaya Gibson caught up with Little at Nona’s Italian Kitchen (Virginia Beach) for her book cover reveal party. Her novel, Rookie Mistakes, will be published through Delphine Publications on November 28, 2018.
About D.S. Little
D.S. Little is a fiction writer who loves to combine her love of romance, sports, and urban culture in her stories. In 2016, she ran across the writing website Wattpad and there she began to share her work. Her stories have earned over 5 million reads. In 2018, her story “Getting Even” was awarded a “Heartbreaker Watty Award. The die-hard Chicago Bulls fan also is a contributing writer of www.sistabrutha.com and www.nutsandboltssports.com. She used to teach American Literature for Central Texas College and she is a veteran of U.S. Air Force.
